Kalmar SmartLift

Save time, reduce human error and improve productivity at your terminal

Kalmar SmartLift process automation solution enables both job promotion and automated handoff between container handling equipment and trucks.

Increase operator productivity and terminal efficiency

SmartLift’s job promotion feature speeds up operations by automatically identifying the most appropriate jobs for an operator. It uses RFID tags and equipment position data to highlight the closest – and therefore the optimal – job, meaning the operator no longer has to spend time scrolling through the job list.

Automated handoff, available as an option, identifies both the job and the truck the equipment is serving. By using telemetry, position information and RFID technology, it doesn't require the operator to provide any inputs. With no need for manual input by the operator, human error is eliminated and efficiency improved.

The optional anti-truck lifting feature improves safety by preventing unintentional truck lifting in case of a locked or jammed chassis.

SmartLift saves you valuable time, reduces errors, and improves both the safety of your operators and the efficiency of your terminal.
