3. Purpose of the Processing of Data
The purpose is to process user data for:
i) development and management of the www.kalmarglobal.com services and there to related products to the customer;
ii) development and management of the customer relationship;
iii) direct marketing and data mining and thereto related actions such as profiling of customer data for the above purposes of Kalmar, its partners and affiliates;
v) managing Kalmar's recruitment related activities as well as for organizational planning purposes globally, with regard to job applicants’ data.
4. Information Contained in the Data File
Kalmar may contain in the Data File information provided expressly by the users of the Site e.g., names, personal identification numbers, annual general meeting attendee’s shareholding data, demographic customer data, order information and client requests. The users of the Site are mainly Kalmar’s customersand job applicants.
5. Regular Transfers of Data or Transfers of Data Outside the EU or EEA
Data may be transferred to entities within Kalmar and Cargotec group of companies, its partners, affiliates and subcontractors in order to fulfil the purposes listed in Section 3 or client requests. Such transfers may include transfers outside the European Economic Area or outside the country where you provided Kalmar with personal data.
6. Principles for the Protection of the Data File
The data file is protected with passwords and the general principles of data protection related to the information systems of Cargotec Corporation, its partners, affiliates and subcontractors such as firewalls. When processing personal identification codes, the connection from a user’s browser to the server is encrypted with SSL-technology. Only pre-designated employees of Kalmar, its partners, affiliates and subcontractors have access to the personal data contained in the data file.
